Option 1 - Check your most recent receipt
The first and easiest option is to check your recent New York EBT card transaction receipt.
This is the quickest way to find the current balance on your New York EBT card.
Once you've found your most recent receipt, your card balance will appear at the bottom of your grocery or ATM receipt if you're also receiving cash benefits.
You should make it a habit to keep your EBT receipt up-to-date so you can always quickly check your account balance before making a purchase.
Option 2: Login to New York EBT card account
The second way to check your New York EBT card balance is online via the ConnectEBT website.
To sign up, visitwww.connectebt.com, then enter your USSR ID and password as shown below.
After logging in, you can view your current balance and transaction history.
If you don't have a ConnectEBT account, you can create oneHere, in the section "To create a new user ID and password:"
However, if you have forgotten your ConnectEBT user ID or password, you can do the following:

Option 3: Check your EBT balance in New York by phone
Finally, you can check your New York EBT card balance over the phone.
Call the New York EBT customer service number (1-888-328-6399) on the back of your card.
The customer support hotline is available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.
When you call, enter your sixteen (16) digit EBT card number and you will hear your current New York Cash or SNAP balance.

When you call, EBT customer service deactivates your card so that no one can use it.

Please contact your local SNAP representative to report the issue and request an EBT ARU PIN Restriction.
This is a process your SNAP office can use to prevent you from changing your PIN over the phone via EBT.

Once this process is complete, any PIN change must be made by you card in hand at the branch or local call centre.
